
Tamara K. Lloyd-Cox, also known as “Coconut Tam,” was born in Mallorca in 1991. She is an artist and designer known for her work in painting, illustration, and fashion. Her vibrant, symbolic art reflects her Asian heritage and connection to Mallorca’s Mediterranean beauty. She also founded The Cocowear, a sustainable fashion brand that merges art with wearable designs, emphasizing slow fashion and sustainability.
I always had a brush and paper and drew girls in dresses ever since I can remember. But I never even thought that being an artist or a designer was actually a profession. But when I grew up I ended up studying Fashion design in Barcelona.Â
When I graduated I had no idea what I was going to do with my life so I tried all types of jobs in the fashion world. I painted in my free time to relax and I thought it would look cool to print my art in silk scarves and t-shirts just for fun and so my journey as a self-taught artist and uniting my other passion: fashion started.

My studio is in my home in the centre of Valldemossa. I love working from my house in comfy clothes, lots of coffee and watching the world go by through my balcony.Â
