Born in California and raised in Mallorca, the painter Vera Edwards travelled the world and lived in multiple global locations before returning to Mallorca six years ago. A few of my family members are artists, so it was around me as a child, but I feel like it was only recently that I found my true voice in my work.

My studio is in the countryside in the south east of Mallorca. I have been painting here for years now, but also living here since the pandemic. It’s a very special place to me, and very peaceful, a perfect place to paint looking over San Salvador right ahead. No distractions, a place to disconnect from the world and be creative.
