Bar Flexas took its first steps in 1944 and, since 2004, it has been run by Xavi de las Heras, Pepa Charro and Fernando Estrella. Bar Flexas is one of the benchmarks for social life in the center of Palma. Despite the fact that the license dates from the 40s, the owners have received information that places the opening of this emblematic bar at the beginning of the 20th century. When the three partners were looking for a place to open a bar, they came across “El Flexas” which had been closed for a few years. Although many people told them that it was crazy to have a bar in what was then known as “Chinatown”, they decided on it because they liked the area of ​​the old neighborhood. Pepa Charro, one of the owners, explains: “When we entered the bar, it seemed that time had not passed there. The cameras were loaded, the decanters were full and there was even a cup of coffee on the bar. It seemed that The previous owner had closed to open the next day. Over time, it has become a place of social reference in the area.
