Galindo is a typical Chilean picada, a piece of Santiago’s history located in the heart of Barrio Bellavista. Here, the flavours and seasoning of typical Chilean food are enjoyed in a bohemian atmosphere. The history of Galindo begins back in 1968 with Galindo Acevedo, a southern garzón who formed the restaurant who only wanted a place to serve homemade food, pipeño wine, chicha and malt with egg. Over time this space became a rich restaurant serving Chilean dishes, a meeting place for local creatives and a must-visit for any tourist visiting Santiago.
