The National Museum of Visual Arts (MNAV) houses the largest public collection of painting and sculpture in Uruguay, as well as an outstanding selection of foreign art. Their mission is to preserve and promote the country’s artistic heritage and culture, made possible in part by their permanent exhibition of Uruguayan art masters including Rafael Barradas, JoaquÃn Torres GarcÃa, and Juan Manuel Blanes. A must-see during any trip to Montevideo.
